Summerlin is a Bible Based, Christ-Centered church focused on Reaching Las Vegas and the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ & Equipping Christians to be fully devoted followers of Jesus in their homes, church, community & world.

Summerlin Community Church exists to EXALT Jesus Christ in all that we do as a church. EXPOSE Las Vegas and the World to the Grace of God in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  ENCOURAGE and EQUIP Christians to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ  and for effective ministry in our homes, church, community and world.

At Summerlin you will find verse by verse expository preaching and teaching, contemporary praise and worship music blended with one or two classical hymns, a family friendly environment that incorporates all ages, and a strong emphasis on knowing Christ and making Him known.

At Summerlin Church, you will find Christ centered children’s ministries that come along side of parents to help and encourage them in their roles as spiritual leaders in their homes! 

Children participate in most of the worship service together w/ their parents and then are dismissed for a age level Bible study during the sermon. Preschoolers study God’s word using the Gospel Project while school age kids study God’s word using Generations of Grace curriculum. Parents wishing to keep their children in the service during the sermon may do so.

Throughout the year, we also host special events to encourage fellowship among all ages in our church and to reach out to guests, friends and neighbors with the love of Jesus. Some of those events include our annual Christmas party, fall festival, spring festival and planned fellowship meals after services.

Everyone is on some kind of spiritual journey. Some are skeptical about God, the Church or the Bible. Others have questions about faith and are seeking answers. Some have recently become Christ-followers and others have believed for a long time.
